Founded in 1948, the International Society for the Performing Arts Foundation is a professional society whose members are leaders in the world of the performing arts in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Pacific. ISPA's members come from over 50 countries worldwide
The purpose of ISPA is to develop, nurture, energize and educate an international
network of arts leaders and professionals who are dedicated to advancing
the field of the performing arts. ISPA and its membership are committed
to:
- Increase international communication, understanding and cooperation
among all arts professionals through the programs, meetings and services
of ISPA
- Strengthen the leadership capabilities of member arts institutions
- Provide support to enrich creative potential and intellectual growth
in the field
- Affirm the importance and necessity of the performing arts in today's
society
As an organization, ISPA's constant goal is to provide the best possible
support, information and opportunities for collegial exchange to our members
throughout the world.
