Organization: Nashville Opera Association stages four productions annually and has an extensive education and outreach program, as well as a young artist residency program. Nashville Opera is one of Tennessee's fastest growing arts organizations and the largest opera company in the state.
Duties: The Director of Development will be responsible for the implementation of fundraising strategies to support the company's annual fund campaign, including the realization of goals for corporate, endowment,individual and membership activities. The director will manage a department of three full-time staff, participate as a member of the board of directors'development committee and assist in developing relationships with corporate, foundation and community leaders.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess significant experience in leading major campaigns, as well as exceptional administrative, written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of the performing arts is a must.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
